I was born in Northern California. I arrived here in Houston, TX, with my family on 04 JUL 70. I attended Junior College then joined the U.S. Navy in 1972. I was Honorably Discharged as Air Anti-Submarine Warfare Operator 2nd Class in JUL 76. I immediately restarted school at first at HCC to get a vocation that matched my avocation (cars in general and Mopars in particular). Then, after going to work for Shell - Westhollow, assisting in engine lubricant and fuels tests, I was admitted to UH, graduating with Bachelor of Science in Political Science in AUG 80. I began Law School at UH Law Center two weeks later. Grad in DEC 1983. Licensed SEP 84.

I began my criminal defense career in APR 89. Worked doing almost all traffic and a few minor Class C cases for Major "Ticket Firm" - doing hard nosed traffic ticket defense - speeding, red lights and stop signs, unsafe lane changes, failure to yield right of way, following too close, failure to control speed, failure to signal lane change, "stickers" expired, and failure to maintain financial responsibility (no insurance), no drivers license, driving without corrective lenses when required, no seat belt etc. etc., to name but a few - for 14 years before going solo in JUN 03. We have expanded the practice from "just tickets" to CDL intensive and then added Major Criminal Defense in the intervening years.

I am happily married to Rita and have no children. The little grey "rescue cat" fills in, for food. I live and work in the Champions area of Northwest Harris County. GoogleMaps and Mapquest have instructions for moving their map to this site. I followed them (again and again) All I wind up with is some html code on my website. Unbelievable.
